COMPANY HISTORY
mPhase Technologies Inc. was founded in October 1996 as a spin-off of Microphase Corporation, a leader in RF component technologies since 1995. The management team of Microphase founded mPhase for the purpose of capitalizing on tremendous growth opportunities in the telecommunications sector, more specifically in DSL. The Company became public in May of 1997. mPhase has been selling DSL components since 1996. In May of 2004, it launched the mPhaseTV+ System, which enables cost-effective delivery of television and other entertainment content as well as broadband Internet connectivity over standard copper phone lines. It has developed the mPhaseTV+ System as a video switch which will provide video delivery capabilities across both copper and fiber to the home – significantly increasing the addressable market for its product.
